Do Not Be Afraid

Hi There Ladies, I'm Sweet Tea and Biscuits. I am delighted to meet ya'll and to be joinin' ya'll today for SLP's Fellowship Sundays. I am honored to be the first guest blogger on her site. Don't you ladies love her little snippets on mothering :) I know she keep me laughing and encouraged as a mom. I love this idea for fellowship sundays. I know we will all enjoy it.

Today I want to fellowship and share with you ladies about my favorite words in the bible " Do not Be Afraid".

It is found throughout the bible and really directs and guides my life. I love that the angel reminds us not to be afraid when Jesus is first born and at his ressurection. These words constantly remind me that God is always with me and that I have nothing to fear as I walk with him. I hope you will be reminded as we go celebrate Easter next Sunday that God does not want us to afraid but that we are safe and protected in his love. Here are a few of my favorite passages -

Matthew 28:5 (New International Version)

5The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.

                                         Luke 1:30 (New International Version)
30But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God.

                                        Luke 2:10 (New International Version)
10But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.

                                         John 14:27 (New International Version)

27Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

And this verse is the one that I cling to everyday -

                                                   Psalm 62:6 (New International Version)

6 He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.

                                  Hope ya'll have a blessed Easter :)
