Best Listeners in the World

What did you say?

          Things my kids must think I say.
  1. Please pee everywhere but in the toilet.
  2. Please use 20 different cups a day.
  3. Please wipe your hands on my couch after you eat.
  4. Please whine every time you do not get your own way.
  5. Please ignore me when I tell you to do something.

Great post today! Love it and all so true.

I would add the favorite in our house which has to be "why does my daughter always think that no means yes and if she asks often enough a yes will be forthcoming?!?!?"

That's too funny...and true! I always ask my toddler if I'm speaking Chinese because he acts like he doesn't understand what I'm saying. The other one I think he hears is "Please make a mess and then leave it for me to pick up"

@Aging Mommy
Yeah I am afraid my oldest has the same thought, ask ask and ask again.

@Natalie
Yes!! Sometimes I think my little people have the goal, how busy can we keep mommy by making a mess.

@Mrs. Addison
So glad to hear that I am not the only one.

Hey - don't know why I haven't stopped by here before. I'm glad you are surviving all your little people! And yes, I make scrubbing my furniture a weekly ritual. For an hour on Sunday everyone knows they won't be able to sit on the wet furniture.

Mine would add "please break every toy we have spent our hard earned money on instead of play with it". They also think repetition is the key to success. I like that the surest way to get something done is to tell your kids not to do it.

Haha...so true! I don't think my kids understand what I'm saying nearly all the time!

classic - I esp love the 20 cups a day :) I pretty much wash a gazillion sippy cups every day !! Pretty sure my toddler hears " oh honey I love it when you purposefully throw a cup full of milk, spill it and look up at me with those sweet little eyes and say - uh,oh " Tootles
