My family and I love to do nice things for other people(Well my kids most of the time-sometimes they want to keep whatever is being given-smile-)
My favorite thing to do would be to make a crock pot meal for neighbors and friends(so easy) Load up the crock pot with various chx, potatoes, veggies, chx broth and you have dinner!! (I have been known to drop off pizza when the crock pot and I have not seen eye to eye on timing.- The crock pot thinking there needed to be food in it to be able to cook!!
Aww, everyone loves a clean house but sometimes between kids, kids, and kids a person can get behind!! I have both given and been given the gift of cleaning for a friend or neighbor. Such a great feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction when the task is done.
Sometimes people need a break from their precious little packages!! What a great opportunity to relieve stress for a mom by offering to watch their kiddos for the day!! This act of kindness could be the difference for a mom whether she feel like a successful parent or a failure!!
The bible says, “It is more blessed to give then Receive” I could not agree more!!
Are we willing to give of ourselves and our time to another to improve the quality of their life?
