The excitement was building………

Then came, “attention all passengers , there seems to be a ground hold in Atlanta right now (Our connecting flight was out of Atlanta) We are delayed 1hr.” And so we sat and sat and sat.

Then came, “attention all passengers , there is still a ground hold in Atlanta right now (Possibly missing our connecting flight out of Atlanta) We are delayed 1hr more.” And so we sat and sat and sat.
Meanwhile~
Then came, “attention all passengers , there is still a ground hold in Atlanta right now ( missed our connecting flight out of Atlanta) We are delayed 1hr more.” And so we sat and sat and sat.

After 3 hrs. of waiting on the plane they announced, “Your flight is…
Really!!
We spent the next 2 hrs. in the airport waiting for the airline to rework our flight for the next day:)
