                 DISNEY DAY HURRAY!!
Remember the free Disney vouchers my family received?

“Just bring your ID and children’s birth certificate to the main gate, and we will exchange the vouchers for tickets.” The only problem was there were 2 manila folders at home both containing birth certificates- hubby consolidated to one manila folder for the trip. Yup you guessed it. He grabbed the wrong manila folder. No ID no ticket. $$$$$ Ouch!!
  I was having a good wife moment and told him he was more important then the four or five hundred dollars it would now cost us to go to Disney for the day!! – We arrived at Disney and a very tenderhearted employee let my hubby use the boys social security numbers as their ID. PHEW!!  Disney was fabulous for the kids, I am still trying to pinpoint an exact phrase that could capture how “The Parents” would rate the experience. In the first 4hrs. we made it to 2 rides, several bathroom stops, the gift shop, and had already had our first major kid meltdown. Only 7 more hours of this fun fun fun to go.

   My most memorable experience was when a Disney employee assured me that in the event of a child getting lost, “Don’t worry about losing a child, WE ALWAYS FIND THEM!!”  I am not sure if that info helped knowing they have 70,000 to 85,000 visitors a day!!

Florida Vacation Part 4

Day of the Wedding-

Started getting ready at 1:00p.m. wedding was at 4:00p.m. - We arrived a little after 4:00 as the processional began. AT LEAST WE DIDN'T MISS THE WEDDING!!

Wedding reception- located by a lake in Florida. 5 boys, water, alligators, and a really stressed out me. Not a pretty picture. I was assured by the "Nature Expert" that the alligators were not aggressive,"except during mating season" - As if the alligator would not eat one of my little people if they fell in the lake because, and I quote, "They are well fed."

Florida Vacation Part 3

2 bedroom villa, hurray!! We arrived! 2nd floor? What? 10 little feet pattering around and waking up the vacationer below? Back to the drawing board.

Villa on the first floor- ready after 4:00p.m.- GREAT!! Only problem, it was 7:00a.m. and we were existing on the sleep of an overnight drive. After driving 13 hrs. we were supposed to attend a BBQ on the beach AN HOUR AND HALF away. We missed the picnic. We arrived as they finished cleaning up. Fabulous!!

Florida Vacation Part 2

Our driving time was estimated at 9hr. and 20 min. It only took us a little over 13 hrs. At one point our van sat off to the side on the on ramp while I held two crying little people. One very tired toddler, a baby and one very distraught me!!

Not sure why I thought I could travel with a 9 week old or kids for that matter!! Trying to remain calm, sane, and alert was not my idea of vacation bliss.

-Me after packing for a 4 day trip to Florida. Next time I think we will decline the invite!! We planned to leave Wed. night, we left Thursday evening after a quick trip to the Urgent Care.(2yr. old poked his eye and scratched his cornea.)
