-Not an actual statement to my kiddos!! I would find them in the street if I were to really utter my sarcasm. {smile}

Keys Please

I have been told by the neighbors that the only name heard from our house is the Little Instigator’s, and it is always accompanied by his middle name!!

 This guy thought it would be a good idea to take the 2yr. old to the van with him to fetch a toy!!

 Said 2yr. old! (Mr. I follow)

  Our gigantic van. If any of you know where this is going you know it is not sounding good!!…..

My Little Instigator got what he needed from the van and left the Little Comedian inside with the keys!! He (2yr. old) locked it from the inside.

We only have 1 set of keys (other set went missing 1 week after we purchased the vehicle). I started to panic, pointing to the unlock button, drawing a big U on paper for him to see so he could “press” the U and be free from his self-imposed prison. To no avail of course. I only got, “Mommy look, an airplane, see the airplane, Mommy?" 

I am thankful for my neighbor who assisted me in ultimately freeing him from his stint in the family van!!  It was quite the picture watching her trying to bribe him to open the door for an already half eaten sucker!! I guess you have to work with what you have. 

I am thankful my child is out of the van and back in the house - that the whole experience is behind us!!

Plum Tickled About Thankfulness

                              
                                 Thankful Thursday

 I am thankful for Plum Tickled Logos who did an amazing job on my header and button for my blog.  I am just "plum tickled" with my new look!!

I am thankful that everytime my dogs escape they are not hit by a car or picked up by the dog catcher! One time my oldest dog did escape and ran straight towards the road and hit a moving car. As in the dog ran into the car, I kid you not!!

I am thankful for 2 very beautiful friends who came over yesterday and helped me restore order to my very disheveled house. My Southern sister Sweet Tea and Biscuits could not organize though without a glass of sweet tea. Of course with me originally being from the North made from scratch we do not have. The best I could offer her was a can from the local gas station to which she replied, "store bought tea is like eating potted meat." Oh dear.

I am most thankful today that my friend Shelly will be able to see her son Seth this weekend and that her surgery went well. The doctors were able to remove her cancerous tumor. I am thankful for doctors and the amazing cancer hopital in Texas and hope!! May her trust in God remain strong and her healing come quickly. I love you Shelly!!
